What is our Mission?

At Garber Gorilla, we strive to help aspiring lacrosse players to be the best they can be through proper training and establishing a strong work ethic. Our approach is academy and educational driven, giving the player tools necessary to compete at a high level. With the student athletes schedule in mind, we provide a year round flexible train schedule so that players can enjoy their off season sports.

Is Garber Gorilla a Club Team ONLY?

NO. At Garber Gorilla, we are highly focused on the training and development aspect for aspiring lacrosse players. While we do offer Travel Teams, we DO provide year-round training for any player, even if you are affiliated with another club.

How will I know if I make a Team?

Once tryouts have been completed, we will be emailing Invitations to players as well as posting jersey numbers (worn at tryouts) on our website. If your number does not appear on any of the rosters, it does not mean that you will not make a team. Invitations will be ongoing until the team rosters are full.

How do I secure my spot if selected?

Once posted, we ask that players register online to secure their spot. We will begin Fall practices and Player Development Training within a few weeks of the end of tryouts. All registrations are done online.

What makes Garber Gorilla different?

We want players to be able to train with players at their level so can get maximum reps, and the ability to develop at a faster rate. Being Academy-FIRST, we believe teaching the game from the fundamental foundation, and expanding into modern day lacrosse skills.
